A seminar focuses on a specific topic or discipline through presentations and discussion. It helps students in improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence.

The conference was very useful as it had a welcoming atmosphere, well organized, good scale and solid content presentation. It was affordable for students. It created opportunities to network with outsiders. The conference was helpful in generating lot of ideas about how to expand skills and develop new project ideas. It was a great forum and was very valuable. It had a good mix of different topics presented. We came out of this conference with answers and solutions instead of just questions and concerns.
National Level Technical Symposium – NEXOVA’2K25
The National Level Technical Symposium – NEXOVA’2K25 was successfully conducted on 27-10-2025 with the objective of fostering innovation, technical competency, and collaborative learning among students from various educational institutions. The symposium served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their talents, enhance technical exposure, and strengthen their communication and leadership skills.
The programme commenced with an impressive Inauguration Ceremony graced by the esteemed Chief Guest Mrs. Gowthami Thangaraj, Senior Manager – HR, 4i Apps Solutions Pvt. Ltd. In her inspiring address, she emphasized the significance of emerging technologies, industry expectations, and skill-based learning in today’s competitive environment. She encouraged students to continuously improve their technical expertise and prepare themselves to meet real-world industrial challenges.
The symposium featured a variety of technical and non-technical events conducted across designated venues, creating an engaging and energetic atmosphere throughout the campus.

The symposium concluded with a memorable Valedictory Ceremony presided over by Dr. Arasee Renganathan, Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, RRASE Health and Educational Trust. She appreciated the dedicated efforts of the organizers, faculty members, and student coordinators in making the programme a grand success. She also encouraged students to actively engage in knowledge-oriented initiatives and technical activities that contribute to their personal and professional development.
Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners and participants of various events in recognition of their outstanding performances and enthusiastic participation. The symposium concluded successfully with positive feedback from students, faculty members, and guests, making NEXOVA’2K25 a memorable and impactful event.

Industrial tours represent important activities in any engineering undergraduate programme that contribute to the achievement of various essential learning outcomes and programme objectives. This paper reports on an attempt to make the industrial tour an integral part of the course. This is achieved through identifying learning outcomes and a suitable industrial site to achieve them. In this case a thermal power plant was identified as a site to be visited by chemical, electrical & electronic and mechanical engineering first year students.

Students are made to visit various factories and get insight of the internal working environment of the company. It helps the students to understand the process of any organization and also strengthen their overall learning interaction with business executives.

Engineers often end up with abundant bookish knowledge but scant practical expertise. In order to equate this imbalance, the Skill Development conducts various training programmes. To have forward thinking in terms of re-engineering the mechanism of current appliances by meticulous research.

YUVA Unstoppable is India’s premier volunteer-run youth organization that mobilizes the youth of the country to give 2 hours every week and contribute towards the up-liftment of underprivileged kids by teaching them.
YUVA Unstoppable aand IT giant Microsoft – are working together for its first kind of revolution in the country. Microsoft Student Partners as a leader with team of young volunteers empowers youth via technology as well as with different kindness activities. It provides a platform to engineering students to contribute in societal development by giving 2 hours every week to teach underprivileged children
